HOMEBOYZ TO LAUNCH ARTISTE AGENCY

Entertainment house, Homeboyz will soon be launching and artiste agency to be headed by event organiser Situma Jones.
The agency dubbed VAT - Value Added Talent - will be a booking agency of choice for most musicians and entertainment practitioners in Kenya.
So far the acts signed up include Abbas Kubaff, Allan Aaron, Amani, Atemi Oyungu, Avril, Big Pin, Bobby Mapesa, Cannibal, Chizi, Collo, Daddy Owen, DNA, Eko Dydda, Eric Waninaina, Habida, Juacali, Longombas who are based in the UK and Marya among others.

HABIDA SPREADS HER SUNSHINE TO THE FOOTBALL PITCH

Sunshine lady Habida Moloney on Saturday took on a new role as the goodwill ambassador for a campaign that seeks to unite the youth through football.
Staged at the at the Langata High School, the first ever match of the Mugumoini Seven Aside tournament was attended by the staff members of InterContinental who are the sponsors, Habida’s fiancé Daniel Ebo and the singer herself.
“This has nothing to do with me being an artist. I just would like to be a part of something that makes a difference to our society. I help them in finding donations and or volunteer support,” Habida said of her role in the campaign.
The hotels Peer Educators took the opportunity to mingle and educate the youth on different social issues including the effects and prevention of HIV Aids during the two days. The hotel also donated the main Trophy for the winners of the tournament. was also at the event.

HABIDA TALKS ABOUT BEING A CELEB MUM

There is a new celebrity couple in town, the gorgeous Habida and International DJ and corporate honcho DJ Yush. The two will be joining the mummy and daddy club come June.
The four-month pregnant Habida explained why she made the decision to go public on her pregnancy was to reduce the pressure and speculation.

WAHU DOESN’T MIND HABIDA COLLABOING WITH HUBBY NAMELESS

Mtv Africa Music Award winner Nameless featured the very hot female act Habida in his single Sunshine.

Laughing, the MAMA award winner for Best Female Artiste Wahu said, “That is hilarious and a lot of people ask me that.”
Wahu and Nameless have been married for four years and have a daughter Tumiso.
“I think one of our best qualities in our marriage is that we are both in the same industry and I understand what the business is all about I understand this business. I’m not insecure and besides Habida is such a nice chick. I wish her all the best in terms of what she is doing musically.”
Wahu, who has always supported female entertainers added, “I always encourage women, I’m usually like, ‘Yeah, the more women in the industry the better’. As for me understanding the closeness in the video, it is the same way he understood when I did a collabo with Bobi Wine, I’m doing a collabo with AY and Nameless wouldn’t stand in my way or get insecure about that.
